How it works
SILK & CLEAN is a patented pad that removes grease and most other stains. Here are some examples of staining products on which Silk & Clean has a very good cleaning effect. For water-based stains (as shown with the*) such as coffee, tea, wine, soy sauce or ketchup, wipe first with a dampened cloth to dissolve and remove colorant and then finish with Silk & Clean.

4 = good, 5 = excellent.
Silk & Clean is totally effective on most stains however, due to the complexity of some staining, dry cleaning may still be required. Silk & Clean will not impede any later dry cleaning process. For satin finishes, delicate or light coloured fabrics, test on a concealed area for suitability. To investigate the stain removal properties of Silk & Clean, the Swedish Institute for Fibre and Polymer Research made an evaluation of the products effectiveness on various stains on silk with different colours.
